98度组合三首经典代表作

这个乐队成立于1996年4月3日。一共有四个成员: Jeff Timmons(第一主音),Nick Lachey(第二主音),Drew Lachey(和音)以及Justin Jeffre(和音)。
98°的成长是曲折的,正如同其他一切音乐组合那样,都是从无名小卒到成功,而这其中,便是充满了艰辛。这个梦开始于一个警卫,他带着这个梦想来到加利福尼亚。这个警卫正是98度的创立者是Jeff Timmons。毕业后,Jeff来到了洛杉机。并开始组队。Jeff坚信如果他够努力的话,他是会成功的。他与原来的队友John一起寻找合适的队友。后来,他们找到了Nick。Nick是从Cincinnati来的,他当时正在俄亥俄州的Miami University(迈阿密大学)学习运动医药学。他在洛杉矶遇到Jeff之后,建议让他的朋友Justin Jaffre也加入这个乐队。Justin Jeffre是另外一个SCPA的参与者，当他接到Nick的邀请时，他正在Cincinnati(辛辛那提)的大学里学习历史。他曾经和Nick一起登台表演过。Drew是最后一个加入的成员。因为在Nick和Justin加入后的5、6个月,John退出了乐队组合。当时他正在纽约的一家医院里从事紧急医药技术员的工作，但他不久就答应了加入98度的邀请。当Drew加入后,一个全新的乐队诞生了,这就是现在我们所看到的98度乐队组合。
98°总部设在Cincinnati，更具体地说是SCPA(创造与表演艺术的学校)，也就是其中的三个成员上的学校。他们4人便一面兼差分担拮据的生计,一面为迎接将来的音乐事业契机作准备；这个他们千盼万盼的大好机会在一次Boyz II Men的演出后台发生。该团经纪人Paris D'Jon在他们身上看见未来之星的璀璨火花,随即安排98度与节奏蓝调新天王Montell Jordan(蒙泰尔乔登)一起巡回演出,这4个大男孩果然不负重望,以抢眼的舞台表现造成话题。
98°在'97年得到Motown唱片公司的出片机会,6个月后,他们开始为他们的第一张专辑工作。于是,随着一首Billboard单曲榜第十一名的歌曲《Invisible Man》,他们的首张同名专辑也出炉了。首张专辑的大获成功并没有让这几个大男孩骄傲自满,'98年他们便推出了他们最成功的作品之一------《98 Degrees And Rising》,把他们的事业推向第一个顶峰。其中首支单曲《Because Of You》夺得了Billboard单曲榜亚军的位置,其火热程度不言而喻,其他的几支单曲如《I Do (Cherish You)》、《The Hardest Thing》同样是家户逾晓的名作。98°于'99年正式加盟环球音乐旗下,2000年的全新专辑《Revelation》再次使98度红遍全球。这是一张由他们自己创作的专辑,其中既有突破了以往风格、颇具拉丁味道的亚军单曲《Give Me Just One Night(Una Noche)》,又有深情款款的R&B歌曲,以及摇滚,骚灵等大胆尝试,98度合唱团用这张专辑确立了自己实力派组合的地位。
